1. What’s included in the price?
All cruises include: 3 swimming stops, a professional English-speaking crew, fuel, safety equipment, a freshly prepared meal and BBQ on board, water, beverages and drinks, snorkeling gear, towels, and transfers (if selected). There are no hidden fees.
2. Is food included?
Yes. Depending on the menu selected, freshly cooked Greek dishes with BBQ shrimp, BBQ chicken fillet, BBQ beef sausage, pasta with tomato sauce, Greek salad, vine leaf rolls with rice, tzatziki, bread, and dessert. are served on board as part of the cruise price.
3. Are drinks included?
Yes. Depending on the menu selected, white wine, beer, soft drinks, cocktails, and water throughout the cruise.
4. Where do the cruises start from?
Most Santorini cruises depart from Vlychada Marina or Ammoudi Bay. If you are a cruise ship customer, your departure could be from the Old Port (Skala), but you have to inform us upon booking so we can arrange this. For private charters in Athens, departure points vary based on the destination (e.g., Athens Riviera, Sounio, Aegina). You will always receive the exact meeting point details in your final confirmation email.
5. Are transfers included?
Most cruises offer optional shared hotel transfers in a luxurious van or minibus. When booking, please provide your hotel’s name and location. We will then provide clear instructions and the exact pick-up time. You may also ask us to arrange a private transfer at an extra cost for you at any time before the cruise.
6. What is your cancellation policy?
A free cancellation applies to all cruises, with different time limits such as 48 hours or 7 days. Our cancellation terms are fair and clearly defined, varying based on the cruise type (private/semi-private). The full policy is visible during the booking process.
7. Do I need to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required for shared or private cruises — you can reserve your spot now and pay on the day of the cruise. For multi-day or full charter bookings, payment terms are arranged directly with our office.
8. What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the Port Authority restricts sailing or the weather conditions are deemed unsafe, the cruise will be canceled. In this event, we offer two options: 1. Reschedule the cruise for a later date if it is possible, or 2. A full refund, depending on your preference.
9. How early should I book?
During the high season (May-September), booking early is always best. Some dates, especially private cruises and sunset departures, sell out weeks in advance. However, you can book all year round for the period you are interested in.
10. How long is the cruise?
Most of our cruises are half-day options and last approximately 5 hours. However, you can also choose the full-day option, which is approximately 10 hours. The duration can change slightly between the seasons.
11. Do we stop for swimming and snorkeling?
Yes. Every cruise features multiple designated swim stops, and snorkeling equipment is provided for all guests at no extra charge.
12. What places do we visit?
Our routes typically include Santorini’s famous spots, such as the Red Beach, White Beach, Black Beach, Black Rock, Mesa Pigadia, the Hot Springs, the Venetian Lighthouse, and the Caldera area, Oia, Thirasia Island, depending on the cruise type selected.
13. How many people will be on the boat?
Capacity varies by vessel and cruise type, but on our semi-private cruises in Santorini, you can expect approximately 9–10 couples on board.
14. Do I need sailing experience?
Not at all. Sailing experience is not required, as our licensed skipper and crew handle the navigation and all sailing logistics completely.
15. Will I get seasick?
Our catamarans are generally very stable. While it depends on individual sensitivity and the sea conditions of the day, seasickness is rare on our vessels.
16. What should I bring?
You should bring your swimwear (note: avoid white swimwear due to staining from volcanic soil), sunscreen, a light jacket for the return journey, sunglasses, a hat with a strap or rope, and a copy of your ID or Passport (a mobile photo is acceptable). That’s it! We provide towels, swimming aids, and snorkeling equipment!
17. Are the boats comfortable?
Yes. Our brand new luxurious lagoon catamarans feature spacious decks, comfortable seating, and shaded areas. We prioritize smooth sailing for a pleasant experience.
18. How safe is it on board?
Very safe. The Captain and crew are licensed, and all vessels carry the required safety equipment. The crew provides guidance and swimming aids or life vests at every swim stop.
19. Are the crew experienced and friendly?
Absolutely. Our crew is highly professional, fully licensed, and known for being attentive, fun, and dedicated to providing excellent service throughout the cruise.
20. Is the cruise suitable for children?
Yes. Our cruises are family-friendly, and the boats are spacious and safe. If you are traveling with infants or very young children, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance so we can take the necessary safety precautions and make appropriate arrangements.
21. Can I book a private cruise?
Absolutely. We operate half-day, full-day, and multi-day private cruises in both Santorini and Athens. Private charters are an ideal choice for families, wedding proposals, birthdays, bachelor parties, and corporate events.
22. Do you offer sunset cruises?
Yes. Sunset cruises are among our most popular options. Experiencing the famous Santorini sunset from the water provides a totally unique and memorable perspective compared to watching it from the cliffs.

24. Can I bring my own drinks or food on board?
Yes, you may bring your own food onboard if you wish to eat something different from our classic menu, which is pre-determined based on the cruise type you selected. Regarding drinks, you may also bring your own; however, consumption must be kept within reasonable limits in accordance with the vessel’s safety measures.
25. Is there music on board?
Yes. We provide a tailored music experience ranging from calm and relaxing playlists to upbeat party vibes, local Greek tunes, and more. Shared cruises offer a pleasant background atmosphere, while private charters allow you to choose the style and energy level you want on board.
26. Do you help with photos?
Yes. The crew is happy to help guests capture photos and videos of the beautiful views, especially during the sunset.
27. Do you have options for vegetarians or special diets?
Yes. We cater to special dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). Please inform us of your specific requirements when making your booking.
28. Do I need to be barefoot during the cruise?
Yes indeed, shoes are not allowed onboard, and you need to leave them in a store box at the start of the cruise.
29. Do you drop us off at the beach?
During the cruise, we pass by or stop close to the beach. However, as per Greek Maritime Law, we are not allowed to drop you off.
30. Will we reach the volcano?
Yes. The cruise sails close to the Volcano and the Hot Springs, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the warm volcanic waters. However, the itinerary does not include disembarking on the volcano itself. If you would like to arrange a guided visit or hike on the volcano, our team can assist you with alternative options.
31. Are Santorini cruises available year-round?
Yes, we operate cruises all year round, weather permitting. Most cruises are available from March to November, but private charters can also be arranged in the off-season depending on sea conditions.
32. Can I book last-minute?
Yes, depending on availability. We recommend booking in advance, especially for sunset and private cruises during high season. However, last-minute bookings may be possible even a few hours before departure—especially for semi-private options.
33. Is there Wi-Fi or phone signal on board?
There is no Wi-Fi onboard, but mobile phone signal is generally available throughout the cruise depending on your carrier and the route.
