The annual Volcano Festival, Ifestia, happening for over three decades, brings the island’s fiery past to life, and there’s no better way to experience this spectacle than aboard a luxurious Catamaran or Motor Yacht, sailing along the Aegean Sea with Spiridakos Sailing Cruises.

Your adventure begins from Vlychada port at 17:00, setting sail for the Red and White beaches to admire the unique rock formations that create a striking contrast against the clear blue waters. The journey continues to Mesa Pigadia bay with a stop for swimming. We will start to prepare the BBQ, as you marvel at the black menhir and the small caves that dot the landscape.

Our voyage continues, past the Venetian Lighthouse and gliding by the Black Rock, iconic landmarks that stand as silent sentinels to the island’s rich history. The Caldera draws closer, its dramatic cliffs rising majestically from the sea as the sun sets, offering you unparalleled views that are simply breathtaking – take a second dip admiring the unique Caldera views.

With the anticipation building, the vessel is positioned near the heart of the Caldera, where the night’s main event is about to unfold – and you have front row seats!

Suddenly, the sky explodes in a brilliant burst of red, the first of many fireworks that will dance across the night in a dazzling display. As the show continues, you’ll be treated to three expertly crafted cocktails per person and a sumptuous BBQ, all while enjoying the astonishing views of the fireworks against the backdrop of the Volcano.
